Eaglesoft Integration Setup (Legacy v21 and lower)

Configuring Secure Email in Eaglesoft Legacy Version 20 and 21

Note: This article gives instructions for Eaglesoft (version 21 and lower). See this article for newer versions of Eaglesoft (version 22 and higher) 

1. Open a web browser
2. Navigate to https://www.senditsecure.com/downloads
3. On the Send It Secure Downloads page, click the Download Send It Secure for Windows button

   

4. Locate the downloaded ProtectedTrust.exe installer on your computer
5. Right-click on the ProtectedTrust.exe install file and select run as administrator
6. On the first screen of the installer (see screenshot below), there is an important checkbox at the bottom, labeled, Make Protected Trust my default mail client. It is important that you choose the correct option.
   
   

   Note: If you would like to send messages directly from Eaglesoft - Check the box to Make Protected Trust my default mail client.

   
7. Click Install Now
8. After the Protected Trust installation is complete, click OK
9. You are now ready to share content from Eaglesoft.  Simply click on the Email button in Eaglesoft to send a secure message.
