Revoke Feature
Revoke a message — take back access anytime
Sent a secure message to the wrong person? Take it back — even after it's been opened.
Mistakes happen: the wrong recipient, a detail that changed, a contact who's moved on. With Send It Secure you're always in control of your messages. Revoke lets you pull access to a secure message at any time — for one recipient or for everyone — so a slip doesn't become a leak. It's one of the message controls that helps you reduce risk and stay compliant with HIPAA and GLBA.
What you can do
Revoke after it's openedUnlike ordinary email, you can pull a message back even after the recipient has already viewed it. Your standout control |
One recipient or everyoneRevoke access for a single recipient, or for all recipients and yourself at once — you decide the scope. Precise or complete |
Keep your proofEven after revoking, you retain the Proof of Delivery Log and Delivery Status for the message. Audit-ready |
Common reasons to revoke: the message went to the wrong address, the information is now out of date, or a recipient no longer needs access.
