Why am I not prompted to enter a code or phone number when sending a message?
When sending a secure message, have you ever wondered why you are sometimes prompted to enter an authentication method for the recipient but other times are not?
The Message Security Settings dialog is the popup that displays when you need to enter an authentication method for a recipient. The popup will not display if the recipient is a registered user of Send It Secure.
The user might have a free Send It Secure account or the user might be a part of a different company that has a business account. The goal in not displaying the dialog is to streamline the sending process. Even though you are not entering an authentication method, you can rest assured that the message is still secured and the user will need to authenticate in order to view the message. Instead of using your chosen authentication method, the user will use their own Send It Secure credentials to authenticate.
