TDO (The Digital Office) Integration Setup

To send messages using the Send It Secure SMTP Service from The Digital Office (TDO), you must create an Access Credential to allow your application to authenticate. Then you can update your Email Settings inside of TDO. Follow the below steps for both Send It Secure and TDO to get started.

Steps to Integrate with The Digital Office (TDO)

Create an Access Credential in Send It Secure
You must be an administrator to create an access credential on a user
  1. Open a web browser
  2. Navigate to https://app.protectedtrust.com/Dashboard
  3. Create an access credential
Set the Outgoing mail server in TDO (TDO)
  1. Open TDO
  2. On the Main Menu, click on Site Configuration
  3. Set Outgoing mail server (SMTP) to smtp.protectedtrust.com
  4. Enter the Send It Secure Access ID in the User Name field
  5. Enter the Send It Secure Access Key in the Password field
  6. Select to use TLS for the outgoing mail
  7. Set the “Outgoing server (SMTP)” port to 587
