Recipient Identity Verification Methods

Verification Method

Shared Secret

The recipient is required to answer a question created by the sender.

Phone Verification

The sender enters the recipients phone number. The recipient must receive and verify a code sent to the phone number via SMS or a voice call.

No Verification

The recipient can open the message without additional identity verification. While ‘no verification’ is still encrypted, please ensure that it meets your security requirements.
